Canberra’s size inclusive runway and retail fashion experience returns in April 2026, and Oh Ramona is thrilled to be part of this fashion rebellion!
Presented by The Female Leader at the Lowitja O’Donoghue Cultural Center, Revel the Runway is a boundary-breaking event designed to push fashion forward, where inclusivity is the main event.
Revel the Runway
A new fashion event debuted in 2025: Revel the Runway, with sold-out seats and featuring 11 brands. Created by Canberra-based plus-size content creator and stylist, Amy Abrahams, Revel the Runway presents inclusive fashion as the standard, not an add-on. It puts local designers to the forefront, focusing on extended sizes from 12 to 24, with a fully-accessible event.
When we say forefront, we mean it! Inclusive Australian fashion on the runway, walked by models who reflect the diversity of Australian women.
This year, Revel features a new venue and two themed runways: ‘Emerging and Sustainable’ and ‘Ready-to-Wear’, celebrating the diversity of Australian style!
Oh Ramona on the Runway
This year, Oh Ramona is thrilled to be one of the featured brands in Revel the Runway’s lineup, showcasing the range of inclusive fashion labels offered at our Hawthorn boutique and online store.

Cara has curated a stunning collection for the runway, including some of our favourite brands. Expect to see Hope + Harvest, Nooworks, Frock Me Out and more! Get a first look at the latest fashions for autumn, winter and trans-seasonal dressing.

Shop the Runway
Revel the Runway doesn’t keep fashion behind the glass. The signature experience ‘Shop the Runway’ gives attendees the opportunity to explore the runway looks, feel the fabrics, meet the creators, and snap up their favourites.
In-person shopping shouldn’t be a luxury, but an accessible option for everyone. It’s a win-win for creators and customers and offers a unique opportunity to meet like-minded people from across Australia. Come see what Oh Ramona has to offer at Revel the Runway!
The Revel manifesto
Any good movement needs a manifesto, right? When you’re breaking boundaries like Revel, it’s time to tell everyone what change you want to see.
Fashion should move us forward.
Fashion is an art, an expression of a creator and the wearer. It’s supposed to open the doors to personal expression, celebration and community. Revel is a response to the lack of events for extended sizes, local talent, and diversity on the runway.
Oh Ramona is part of this progress, built from the ground up with the values of inclusivity, diversity, sustainability and safety. It's the standard, not a section.
Extended sizing is the blueprint
Expression and freedom through fashion should be accessible to all, from workwear to casual outfits to event dressing and everything in between. Arbitrary and restricted sizing has long shadowed the landscape of fashion in Australia and the world, and Revel believes that extended sizes shouldn’t be an addon, but a standard!

Revel the Runway wants to put Australian creators at the front: in a world of global markets and fast fashion, they’re putting local designers first. We have independent labels and creators doing the work, leading the charge for inclusive fashion in Australia, so let’s celebrate and support them!
At Oh Ramona, every line and label is picked with the values of quality, inclusivity, sustainability and intersectionality. It’s hard to tick every box: affordable, eco-friendly, diverse, etc., but Oh Ramona curates incredible labels and outfits, and we’ll be showing them off on the runway!

In Person Matters
Online shopping may have opened a whole world of options, but it only provides part of the fashion experience. In person shopping gives us the opportunity to try, experiment, and find confidence in ourselves and our clothes.
That’s why Oh Ramona has a physical boutique, because nothing beats trying on outfits and finding what flatters you. When fabrics feel right on your body, when the fit works; it’s such an exciting part of developing your style and taste. Online shopping can be great, but in person is so important!
With Revel the Runway’s in person retail experience, the stores come to the runway, so no one misses out on the looks they love.

Exclusion and fashion often seem to go hand in hand. Feeling unwelcome in fashion spaces is an unfortunately familiar feeling for many of us, and building community can seem so out of reach. Revel the Runway is for everyone, to showcase the neglected reality of Australian women's fashion.
