True to size. Fit note: The Chelsea Pants feature a grown on waistband that sits slightly higher than other styles. A 'grown on waistband doesn't have any elastic throughout the waist so it will hold its shape when worn. If you have swayback or a bigger booty then you might find they gape at the back waist due to the height of where the band sits.
