This iteration features a print of birds and flowers on a deep charcoal background, based on the antique, hand-painted botanic illustrations by Maria Sibylla Merian (1647-1717), known for her documentation of butterfly metamorphosis. Maria was one of the earliest European naturalists to depict the life cycles of insects & their food plants as well as to focus on the interactions between the species that she studied.
Very relaxed fit – consider sizing down, depending how you prefer it to fit. Please see measurements in product images.
